Since 2004
In January 2004, Lorenzo and Laura Velasco achieved their dream of owning a family-run Mexican restaurant.
With 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, they worked their way up from dishwasher, cook, busser, and waiter to manager, eventually becoming proud owners of a restaurant in Sedro-Woolley.
Over the years, Lorenzo’s has received notable recognition, including the Latino Business of the Year award for Skagit County, the 2008 Skagit Business Pulse People’s Choice award, and most recently, the People’s Choice Award finalist for Skagit’s Best Mexican Restaurant in 2019.
These achievements are a testament to their hardworking team, supportive family, and the loyal community that stands behind them.
